Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling martial art and self-defense system that focuses on ground fighting. This is done by using leverage and proper technique to apply chokeholds and joint locks to stop an attacker. It’s not about the size of your muscles, it’s about how skilled you are at using them. Of course, you will get stronger, but understanding the concepts of leverage and technique will elevate your confidence and strength to new heights.
This program is offered to Kids and Adults. Kids will be separate from adults.
Functional Fitness
Functional Fitness is similar to a boot camp workout style. It is a fast pace environment as the time is always running. The class uses a lot of your own body weight and strength. It has a mix of some punching and kicking from Muay Thai as well as full body workouts that you would see in a bootcamp. For example, you will see your push ups, lunges, jabs, squats, etc. This class will get you pass that plateau stage of fitness to the next level. Get ready to sweat and workout!
